When a team functions in harmony and synergy,
upholding its ultimate goal beyond individual perspectives,
then 1 + 1 is not 2, rather 1 + 1 becomes 11.

Tej Gyan Foundation, one of its kind non-profit organization, is celebrating 25 years of its journey of mass awakening and transformation this year. The organization has been working towards raising mass consciousness through various initiatives. All this has been possible only due to the unwavering support and teamwork of thousands of volunteers and seekers, who have been a part of the Tej Gyan Family.

6^th June is celebrated as the Sangh Divas – a day that celebrates the spirit and essence of teamwork.

A solitary water droplet does not make an ocean, nor does a single color form a rainbow. A single pearl doesn’t make a necklace, nor does a single note create music. However, when a number of concordant notes are combined with a single note in tune and harmony, a magical concert is created. Noteworthy and significant achievements come to fruition when the collaborative efforts of the many come together in harmony. This coherence of individual energies into a combined whole, ties the group in an energetic thread, creating a powerful amplification effect. This amplification unlocks the immense potential of a team, creating the transformation of seemingly impossible dreams to tangible realities.

An inspiring example of teamwork is seen in the remarkable creation called “The Blue Planet”, a groundbreaking, educational, and inspirational documentary series on marine life produced by the BBC Natural History Unit.  During the course of the making, the crew would spend many hours shooting underwater everyday leaving them quite exhausted. The crew often felt that another day’s shooting would be impossible. However, come the next morning, when a single member of the team called out to the team, “Let’s go!” the crew, with newfound surge of energy, would head to another day’s shooting. Once inside the ocean, their exhaustion only seemed like a faint memory and the crew created some of the most remarkable underwater videos, for the world to witness the mysteries of the aquatic world. In the course of their day to day shooting, they had no idea of the significance or impact of their creation but the magic of this group dedicated to their goal and working in harmony and synergy made this remarkable creation happen. Many such wondrous achievements are waiting to unfold.

There are people who feel that they can operate just as well as individuals and don’t need to be part of the team. This only indicates that their goals are limited. The more clearly one sees the possibility of significant goals, the clearer is the role of the group in the process of any significant creation.

For physical objects, 1 plus 1 is certainly equal to 2 but a very different sort of math applies to the creation that happens through a group of individuals working together. Sirshree defines the power of team work as 1+1=11. Depending on the level of consciousness and mutual attunement, the collaboration of two individuals can create an amplification akin to 1+1 summing up to 11, 111, or even higher levels of achievement.

Drawing from ancient Hindu epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana, legendary duos like Arjuna-Krishna and Rama-Hanuman achieved extraordinary feats through alignment at the physical, mental and spiritual planes. Central to the essence of the highest expression of teamwork is its capacity to amplify individual contributions through the attunement of their consciousness to the universal consciousness and to each other.

When the level of consciousness and attunement is low, every individual feels separate and the amplification effect of the group is non-existent. In these cases, it is natural to feel the need of large numbers of people and resources to achieve even middling objectives. Conversely, when the members of the team are attuned to this universal consciousness, there is a deep access to the infinite source of creative ideas and solutions that can overcome even the largest of obstacles. When people sit together in this attunement and are able to focus this infinite source of creation onto their goals, what seemed impossible earlier suddenly becomes easily possible.  It also inspires others to join in and create even bigger things. This is the true essence of unleashing the power of the team.

When individuals of heightened consciousness converge around a common vision, they have the potential to tap into creative energies of the highest order. Such creative energies are capable of catalyzing significant innovations that can elevate the collective human consciousness on a global scale. In the face of formidable challenges and overwhelming odds, teamwork emerges as a wellspring of strength, encouragement, and motivation. Team members inspire each other to transcend perceived limitations, challenge conventional wisdom, and accomplish feats once deemed unattainable.

In conclusion, while individual brilliance can illuminate the path to progress, it is the collective effort of a dedicated team that truly propels humanity towards the realization of its highest potential. Through unity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence, we harness the boundless potential inherent in the power of teamwork to shape a brighter, more remarkable future.
